Alison de la Cruz: Writer, performance artist, sound selector and countless other forms of expressive mediums, Alison will be collaborating on a spoken word piece with the accompaniment of Red Key Experiment entitled "Matra – A Tale of a Sea Lioness" based on a Philippine folk tale as well as dropping the needle on some choice tracks.

Red Key Experiment: A collective of two sound selectors, Drew de Ramos (A Growl Translucent/Somared/formerly of Die Rockers Die and Pedro Gil) and Joel Quizon (joelquiz ,diggin' Sunday), manipulating various vinyl recordings to create reconstructed music-scapes on four turntables and miscellaneous gadgetries.

5 PILIPINO FACTS YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW
1) There is no "F" in the indigenous Pilipino
language that's why its Pilipino Heritage month.
2) Theres a KKK in the Philippines, but a good kind.
It stands for Kataastaasang, Kagalanggalangang Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan
(Supreme and Venerable Society of the Sons of the Nation). Better known as the Katipunan,
they were a Philippine revolutionary organization founded by Filipino rebels in Manila, in 1892,
which started a revolution that gained independence from Spains 300 years of colonization.
3) After the 2000 U.S. Census. Pilipinos are the largest API
(asian pacific islander) population in the U.S.
after they implemented the use checking multiple boxes for multi-racial people.
4) Call centers in the Philippines are not allowed
to speak tagalog over the phone, only English.
5) The largest export of the Philippines is People.
Thats a long explanation why.
